Thrive & Shine Bistro was established in 2020 out of a passion for sharing amazing food with the locals in Esquimalt and Victoria, BC. Offering a variety of specialty breakfast and lunch items, including the beloved Benny Wrap. Alongside Aromano coffee, it’s truly a recipe for satisfied taste buds. Opening a bistro amidst a pandemic has served its challenges. However, Thrive & Shine’s owner Maggie Rideout, has utilized her 20+ years as the owner of the previous local restaurant delivery service, Dine in Victoria and current cafe down at the Esquimalt Graving Docks, to engage with the Esquimalt community.
Following a sustainable approach, much of the bistro’s interior has been designed from recycled and repurposed materials. Located along the E&N Trail on Admirals, the warm and welcoming atmosphere encourages local bikers and walkers to stop by for a coffee break.
We appreciate the ongoing support from all of our loyal in-store, pick-up, and delivery customers and are committed to continuing to serve our community quality meals and hot coffee!

Maggie and her team make delicious breakfast sandwiches both for eat in and take out. That they are on the E&N bike route makes them a wonderful attraction for Esquimalt residents and visitors alike; Great Cafe & consignment store all in one. Super friend
