Business Façade Improvement Program

Let's work together to enhance the beauty and appeal of Esquimalt's commercial areas.

A Smart Investment in Your Success

A well-maintained and attractive storefront is more than just curb appeal—it’s a reflection of your business’s identity and commitment to the community. Through the Township’s Business Façade Improvement Program, local property owners and businesses have accessed grant funding to revitalize their storefronts, increasing customer traffic, supporting tenant success, and contributing to a more vibrant commercial district.

These enhancements not only boost individual property values but also strengthen Esquimalt’s broader economic fabric—one façade at a time.

Beyond Curb Appeal. Storefronts and Murals That Tell a Story.

From eye-catching murals to revitalized storefronts, the look and feel of our commercial spaces shape how people experience Esquimalt. A fresh coat of paint, thoughtful design, or a bold artistic statement can turn a building into a landmark—and a passerby into a customer. These visible investments build pride of place, drive economic activity, and signal that something exciting is happening here.
